Although many students need the required results of the IELTS exam in order to study or further their education, it could also be of use when applying for new jobs or even migrating to new countries. Whatever the reason may be, we always assist and guide students to ensure that they are well prepared for the exam. There are different bands that students need to achieve. The most common band is 6.0 as it is usually the necessary band to enter a University to study for an undergraduate degree.
When a student enquires about IELTS, we usually advise them to take our online test in order to gauge the applicant’s level of English. We recommend that only students who have a strong Intermediate level of English join our exam preparation courses. This course, which is rather demanding, focuses solely on the skills needed to obtain a desired IELTS exam result. If however, the student has not yet reached the required level of English, we recommend that they take several weeks of General or Intensive English prior to enrolling for the course. The number of weeks is determined by the current level of the student as shown in their online test result.
