English For Visiting Students at the University of Malta

This course is designed to help you upgrade your English level before joining the University of Malta (UM) as a visiting student. You can study at the University of Malta as a visiting student for a  semester or a full academic year.  At the time of applying, ideally, your level of English would be at an Intermediate level or higher. Our  English for Visiting Students course consists of around 8 to 16 weeks of English classes at Malta University Language School aimed at improving your level of English to be able to follow your lectures at University.

On completing the course with Malta University Language School students will receive a letter of achievement from the school which will enable them to proceed with their studies at UM as a visiting student for one semester or a full academic year.   A semester starts in October and ends in January and a full year ends in May. Students are allowed to follow a minimum of 8 ECTS per semester and a maximum of 30 ECTS per semester.
