English Proficiency Course (IELTS Preparation)
This is a course aimed at prospective students who wish to obtain entry to the University of Malta.
This course has been validated by the Programme Validation Committee and approved by the Senate of the University of Malta.
The course is a stepping-stone for overseas students whose first language is not English and who must provide evidence of their level of proficiency in English to enroll either on the Foundation Course or at undergraduate level at the University of Malta.
Being rigorous in nature, this exam preparation course covers ground needed for international examinations, such as Cambridge and IELTS.
This course is offered four times a year – in January, April, July and October. Lessons are held every day from 9.00 – 12.30 for the duration of nine weeks.
Should there be a demand, this course can also be offered in the evenings from 17.00 – 19.00 and it would last fourteen weeks.
